Batnote Air
Battery Intelligence, Without Complexity
A new smart connected sensor for monitoring battery health and predicting battery failures before they happen - without needing gateways, ECUs, Battery Management Systems or complex infrastructure.
- Availability in late 2026
-
The Real Battery Problem
Battery health is mission-critical across automotive, trucking, agriculture, marine, construction, facilities management, and beyond.
Yet battery decisions still come down to guesswork:
- Replace too early, and you waste money
- Replace too late, and you risk downtime, failures, and safety issues
- Traditional battery sensors are increasingly bundled into complex Battery Management Systems (BMS) modules – making them harder to source, deploy, and scale
As equipment fleets grow and lifecycles extend, battery intelligence needs to be simpler, more accessible, and more predictive.
POV: A Different Approach to Battery Monitoring
We believe battery monitoring shouldn’t require a full BMS to deliver meaningful insight.
Batnote Air is being built to deliver BMS-level intelligence in a standalone, cloud-connected sensor, purpose-built for low-voltage commercial batteries and remote deployments.

Batnote Air Product Overview
Product Direction
While Batnote Air is still in development, here’s what defines the product direction:
- Designed for 6v–24v low-voltage commercial batteries
- Built for vehicles and remote equipment
- Combines edge computing and direct cloud connectivity
- Focused on predictive maintenance, not just monitoring
- Developed to be simple to install and cost-effective to scale
How It Works
Batnote Air uses edge analytics to continuously assess battery condition and usage patterns. Using its embedded Notecard, Batnote Air connects securely to Notehub, delivering data and insights to the cloud and routing information to vehicle management platforms and fleet managers as needed. Notehub also delivers weather forecast data to the edge, enabling Batnote Air to make more accurate assessments of how healthy the battery is, how it’s being used, and when it’s likely to fail or need replacement – all without requiring a traditional BMS architecture.
Expected Capabilities
Batnote Air is being designed to support:
- Real-time visibility into battery charge, health, and remaining useful life
- Predictive maintenance alerts to prevent unexpected failures
- Sensor fusion for vibration, speed, and shock analysis
- Direct cloud connectivity - no gateways required
- Fleet-level visibility, including location and environmental context
- Remote firmware updates to evolve functionality over time
- Optimized battery replacement cycles to reduce operational cost
Who Batnote Air Is For
Batnote Air is being built for teams managing:
- Commercial and industrial equipment fleets
- Distributed or hard-to-access battery assets
- Long-lifecycle, low-voltage battery applications
It’s ideal for organizations that want battery intelligence without BMS complexity.
